MEET

WHITNEY PADOTE

I’m a lifelong North Miami Beach resident, civil engineer, and community leader running for City Commission to lower costs, improve city services, and deliver real results for our neighborhoods. I currently serve as Chair of the Redevelopment Advisory Board and previously served as Chair of the Public Utilities Commission, where I worked to strengthen infrastructure, improve accountability, and enhance services for residents. With years of experience managing public projects and bringing people together, I’m running because North Miami Beach deserves bold leadership focused on residents, results, and the future of our community.

ROOTED HERE. COMMITTED HERE.

Over the last 12 years, I’ve helped deliver projects that improve parks, neighborhoods, infrastructure, and public spaces across South Florida. Through my work in government and community development, I’ve focused on creating projects that improve quality of life and bring people together.

One morning while running across the Key Biscayne Bridge, I watched families enjoy safe, connected public spaces and asked myself: “Why can’t North Miami Beach have this too?” That moment helped shape my vision for the future of our city and inspired my support for projects like the Snake Creek Trail enhancement initiative with CRA.
